Lynley Marshall has over 20 years experience in the broadcasting industry. She held a series of senior broadcasting positions in New Zealand before joining the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2000 as Director of New Media and Digital Services.
As Director of New Media and Digital Services for the ABC, she was responsible for the integrated delivery of the ABC's digital content, including ABC Online, digital channel ABC2, ABC Video On Demand, interactive TV, mobile and other emerging platforms.
Lynley led the ABC's digital strategy and content development and participated in a range of industry groups, most recently as a member of the Strategic Industry Leaders Group, contributing to the development of the Government’ s Digital Content Action Agenda.
In February 2007 Lynley was appointed Director, ABC Commercial with a brief to pursue new business opportunities for the ABC in the digital media environment.
