Professor Ed Davis is Dean of the Division of Economic and Financial Studies. The Division has approximately 11,000 students, in excess of one third of the University’s student population.
Before taking up this position in 2002, Professor Davis was a Professor at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and Deputy Director from 1996-2002. He has won University awards for Outstanding Teaching (1997) and Outstanding Service (2004) and was awarded the HR Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Human Resources Awards in 2004.
In the 2006 Australia Day awards, Ed was honoured with a Member in the General Division (AM). The citation recognised his service to education, and to the community in the areas of equity in employment, industrial relations and human resource management.
