Ed Davis
Dean, Division of Economic & Financial Studies (EFS), Macquarie University
Professor Ed Davis AM is Dean of the Division of Economic and Financial Studies at Macquarie University. From 1988-2002 he was a Professor at Macquarie Graduate School of Management and was Deputy Director from 1996-2002. He holds a Master of Arts from Cambridge, a Master of Economics from Monash and a PhD from La Trobe University. During 1992 he held the post of Distinguished Academic Visitor at Queens College, Cambridge.
Pam Morpeth
Manager, Labour Management Studies Foundation, Macquarie University
Pam joined the Foundation in 1990. As Manager of Labour-Management Studies Foundation (LMSF) she has developed key links with business, governments and unions. Through the flagship annual Women, Management and Employment Relations Conference she has forged valuable relationships with over forty sponsors from both the public and private sectors. Pam was awarded a scholarship and graduated in 1999 with a Master of Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
Valerie Pratt
Visiting Professor, Macquarie Graduate School of Management
From 1986 to 1994 Professor Pratt was Founding Director of the Commonwealth Government's Affirmative Action Agency, responsible for implementation of the Affirmative Action Act 1986. Prior to this position she was Divisional Personnel Manager for CSR Ltd, and held various roles involved in social planning, personnel policy and research. She represented Australia at the ILO Conference in Equal Opportunty and Restrictive Legistation in 1989 and co-hosted the Conference on Equal Opportunity in the South East Asian Region in 1990.
